Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy - Ashi "foot" atsu "pressure"
This Western massage technique uses the bare feet to apply deep compression strokes that glide over the body. Your therapist uses overhead bars for support and balance while the weight of her body sweeps, presses and swirls your muscles. This allows the toxins to be pushed out and knots to be released and relaxed. Ashi helps elongate and stretch shortened muscles, especially in the back, hips and legs. Ashi also helps decompress the vertebrae in the spine and aids in an overall state of wellbeing.
Thai Massage on the Table
This massage is based on the 2500 year old ancient healing art form. The theory is that the body is made up of 72,000 energy lines. Performed in loose fitting clothing and on the table, your therapist will use rhythmic pressure of the forearms, elbows and thumbs to manipulate these points and she will also use yogic assisted stretches to relax the muscles and joints. A unique, yet deep and relaxing form of body work; that incorporates rhythmic rocking, massage, acupressure, and stretching all in a meditative state of bliss.
Massage therapy is one of the best ways to relax the body and ease the tension of life's everyday hurdels. The Swedish Massage is one of the most common types of massages at our full service salon & spa. This technique uses light to meduim pressure, and long smooth strokes to improve skin tone and full body circulation. It soothes and pampers, as well as relieves stress and tension.
Treat yourself to some relaxation with this service.
